Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the core backend team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership.
Implement and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and scalability.
Manage Kubernetes deployments and containerization strategies.
Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka
Collaborate with the product team to develop cross-system services and create an exceptional user experience.
Drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer in NodeJS + TypeScript (experience in NestJS is an advantage)
Experience with microservices architecture, SQL databases, cloud platforms (specifically GCP), and modern frameworks
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration
Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
Experience with Kafka or similar message broker systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and orchestration systems
Demonstrated experience in cloud operations and DevOps practices
Strong communication and leadership skills
